Santo Domingo.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry has raised fuel prices again this week, as a result of the continual increase of international petroleum prices.
Premium gasoline will cost RD$167.40, following an increase of RD$0.30 per gallon, and regular sells for RD$157.60, an increase of RD$1.10. Regular diesel will cost RD$136.20, an increase of RD$3.10 per gallon, and premium diesel will sell for RD$140.00, an increase of RD$3.00 per gallon.
Kerosene will sell for RD$136.00 following an increase of RD$3.70 per gallon. The only fuel to remain at last week's prices is Liquid Petroleum Gas (propane). Subsidized LPG costs RD$59.95, and non-subsidized LPG remains at RD$81.71. |

Domingo.- The last two weeks' fuel price reductions were just a brief respite:
the Ministry of Industry and Commerce has raised fuel prices again.
Premium
gasoline will cost RD$152.20, an increase of RD$2.10 per gallon, while regular
gas has gone up RD$3.40 and sells at RD$140.40.
Diesel has
gone up RD$2.30 per gallon and now costs RD$112.60,and liquid petroleum gas
(propane) has gone up by RD$0.77 and now sells at RD$51.92 (subsidized) and
RD$73.68 (non-subsidized).
The Ministry attributed the changes to
international market price fluctuations especially in the light of recent
hurricane activity in the Gulf of Mexico, which leads to fuel price rises in
the United States. |

Santo Domingo.- Gas prices are up again. The Industry and Commerce Ministry has announced that Premium will go up by RD$2.50, which means it now sells for RD$154.40 per gallon, while regular is up by RD$2.10 and now sells for RD$140.90.
The price of diesel increased by RD$2.30 and now costs RD$106.90 a gallon.
Subsidized propane for domestic and vehicular use is up to RD$48.76 and non-subsidized for industrial use now sells for RD$70.52 per gallon. This represents an increase of RD$1.60.
Fuel prices have increased in 12 of the last 14 weeks, due to fluctuations in the price of crude oil on the world markets. |
